The event has begun with the morning coffee and registration of participants. After that Taras Kytsmey, SoftServe BoD member greeted all participants with the successful finish. “Leaders never whine. Even when they do not like something, they create new comfortable circumstances for themselves.” – told us Taras Volodymyrovych. And then he added: “The most important thing is not to run fast but to know the direction.”
Then other partners of the event had a greeting word: Ihor Katernyak, the president of community-based organization – Ukrainian system of distant learning and Viktoria Loboda, teacher at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Thomas Arctaedius, CEO at Ayond, a partner from Sweden side, has joined the event via Skype call.
In terms of the project, the participants had an internship in partnering companies. Each of them shared their impressions from the project. Markiyan Yuskiv went through an internship in our company and now he became one of our colleagues.
During the coffee break someone was treating themselves to the sweets, someone was playing tabletop football and someone was simply communicating with their colleagues.
Then Dmytro Maleev, Mobile Software Engineer, N-iX, told us about Gamification and Oleksandr Krakovetskyy, СEO, DevRain Solutions & Microsoft Regional Director, about “Mobile StartUps”.
Inspired by the presentations from the project “graduates” and speakers, conference participants started brainstorming their own Start-Ups.
When they finished presenting their own ideas, the majority of paper likes has received “A” team which fully consisted of our colleagues J They had invented an application that will help people to be punctual and received certificates for distant learning from Microsoft for it.
The event came to an end with taking photos and a party.
