Taras Kytsmey was granted a “People of the New Time” award for the input in the development of Ukrainian IT industry

On December 7th in Kyiv an annual event “People of the New Time 2017” was held. This awards ceremony honors those people, whose achievements help Ukraine to move forward. Weekly magazine “New Time” is the organizer of the event.

Taras Kytsmey, a co-founder and Board Member of SoftServe, was awarded for the development of the Ukrainian IT industry. “He is the one who builds the future of Ukraine, digital one and not only”, says Ihor Gut, managing partner at Develop Your Business and a member of Nestor group. “Taras and his partners founded SoftServe, one of the biggest Ukrainian IT service companies. Its office is located in Lviv, all other – in ten countries, including USA, Netherlands and Great Britain. He built a global business on the most progressive market.

The choice of the nominees for the ceremony “People of the New Time” is based on the decision of the magazine’s editors. This year they awarded 26 Ukrainians, who make new standards in business, culture, politics, society in general and inspire others with their example. This year the award “People of the New Time” was also granted to Ulyana Suprun, the acting Minister of public health care, Francis Malige, managing director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus for the EBRD, Nataliya Zhyzhchenko, the Onuka music band soloist, Vitalii Klytschko, Kyiv city mayor, Artem Romaniukov and Denys Selin, founders of the “Social Control Platform”, Darko Skulskyy, acting producer of Radioaktive Film and others.
