Overall, 18 students participated in the program. During 2 weeks, SoftServe volunteers has held theoretical and practical classes for the students on Java (Hibernate/Spring)/Android, Business Model Canvas, as well as became mentors for School participants.
Students worked in teams and at the last day of their two-week study, they presented prototypes of their own projects. Among them, in particular, Android mobile app to look for a company for pets. For future, developers plan to add integration with Facebook, search for nearby dogs function and quick search for owners of a lost pet. Another project that students developed during Summer schools allows identifying emotions of a person based on video recordings. Students plan to implement it based on Google Vison API and deploy on Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
